LEMUR is a mission-driven Public Benefit Corporation. The primary mission is to deliver as many healthcare services as possible in a free personalized healthcare experience to ALL patients regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or ability to pay or care for medical insurance. Secondarily, decreasing healthcare costs allows for more patients to have greater access to traditional healthcare services and insurance.

DR. COREY AMANN

Corey Amann MD, MBA, is the founder and CEO of LEMUR PBC and has assembled a strong and growing startup team consisting of industry experts and business growth leaders. In addition to founding LEMUR, Dr. Amann has been a CEO, startup founder, and practicing physician for over 15 years, where he has evaluated over 100,000 patients and advised several healthcare tech companies.

For the past 3 years, Dr. Amann has been CEO and a practicing physician at his own Urgent Care management company he started from scratch in 2018 –and has since led the company to success as a full-service urgent care business with a staff of 11 through the recent COVID pandemic.

The prior 10 years he served as Medical Director and successfully operated several urgent care centers in the southern Ohio area. Dr. Amann led the organization’s growth from 2 centers with 4 providers – to 5 centers with over 12 providers. He was also responsible for health care quality and physician performance and improvement.

Dr. Amann’s personal mission is to expand his ability to help more patients receive better healthcare outcomes while helping his fellow physicians serve their patients more effectively through cost reduction and the removal of unnecessary administrative burdens.
